This July funday and big party night in the clubhouse

We have been going for 20 years, and will be holding a fun day for players and families old & new

we hope to see ex players, managers and family’s that over the years have been connected to the club in any way.

We are thinking of having small sided games, we will have an all day bar BBQ and game stalls, Netball for Mums & Dads, Football Dads v Children, Mums V Children, and more! If you have a suggestion let me know please, I am running out of ideas.

In the evening we will have a big party in the clubhouse, where we hope to see some old faces, all are welcome.

New U7s team at Croydon Juniors FC.

(Open to Boys and Girls currently in reception and Year 1)

If you are interested please bring your child in shorts with shin pads and boots to the Arena training ground.

Training is each Saturday 11.30 - 13.00 but next season I want to bring this forward to around 10.00am.

I plan to do some light training over the first 3 Saturdays in May so the kids can get a feel for it and so that September return is less daunting.

Each session is £3 and all the money collected now will be put into buying kit and equipment for next season.

By all means feel free to invite friends and family of the same age who may be interested in taking part.

This work was necessary so we could use the clubhouse's back fire escape & comply with fire regulations,

And also to stop the mound of earth covering our damp course.

So now we have somewhere to sit and relax or B-B-Q in the nice weather and the kids can play safely.

And no more drug deals, users or drug paraphernalia left at the back of the club.

(Even the devil smokers can smoke and sit on the church pew & repent for their Smokey stinking sins.)

Parents play a crucial part in supporting the involvement of their children with football.

The FA aims to help parents play a positive role, recognising that involement in football can greatly influence the development of children, both in the football envirnment and in their overall lifestyles.

As a result, The FA launched Soccer Parent to work positively with parents, with the intention of raising both standards of behaviour and knowledge, as well as looking to attract new volunteers to the game.

The FA has launched an online version of the programme. Parents, coaches, teachers and young players will find a whole host of interactive information, games, puzzles and downloads aimed at getting the Soccer Parent message across.

The online Soccer Parent course will explain how clubs and schools can organise a Parents Evening to communicate good practice in a fun and friendly way. But the beauty of the internet and its 24-hour access is that the whole course can be easily completed at any time by anyone who has access to a computer.

Soccer Parent is a completely free online course that is available to anybody that registers with FA Learning – The FA’s Educational Provider. Everyone that completes the course and achieves the pass mark can immediately print off an accredited certificate directly from the website.
